A new shopping platform offering a comprehensive range of equestrian clothing and accessories for horse and rider, from some of the biggest brands in the equine industry, is now open for business.

The Drillshed, created by an experienced group of riders and e-commerce professionals, offers a new and fresh approach to equestrian retailing. Great customer experience is at the heart of the business, with twenty-four-hour delivery available on all orders, buying guides and a helpline manned by experienced riders.

The team behind the new site wanted to build a dedicated platform to give riders a shopping experience tailored to their needs. Cath Gordon, horse owner and Buyer for The Drillshed, comments, “We have carefully curated a collection of technical clothing and equipment based on our own product experience and those of our fellow riders with whom we have a shared passion for this amazing sport.”

“Through our existing websites in other niche sports, we have dispatched over one million orders worldwide and have 17,000 five-star trust pilot reviews, so we know how to bring the best service to the customer,” adds Managing Director Paul Williams and former MD of Horse and Hound.

The website had its soft launch in May and has already had a flurry of orders. A great deal of work has been done to ensure the site is both easy to navigate and very informative – there is detailed product information clearly showing the features and benefits of every item plus some very useful after care instructions.

A one year guarantee is given for all the leading brands being offered including Charles Owen, Dubarry, Musto, Weatherbeeta and Caldene. Customers can also try the products first hand at the company’s dedicated equestrian showroom in Shoeburyness, Essex.
