Refreshing an innovative tool used by horse owners every day, the Quick Pick is turning heads as an easy solution for muck picking and so much more.
Designed to help your customers spend more time in the saddle and less time cleaning up after their horses, the Quick Pick boasts a range of cleverly designed details never seen before.
Featuring sturdy foot plates that enable the Quick Pick to be anchored to the ground, the user is free to use both hands while raking, which in turn helps to reduce the potential risk of wrist stress injuries – such as repetitive strain injury. For customers with field-kept horses or those having to shift barrow after barrow, this useful feature should help keep them free from any aches and pains.
In addition, the Quick Pick offers roughly twice the capacity of a standard scoop as well as a unique feature to ensure it is still easy to both handle and empty. The Flip and Store feature allows the first heap of manure to drop to the back of the Quick Pick and enable the next pile to be easily collected with plenty of room. The easy empty handle then enables the user to swiftly empty the Quick Pick without the wrist twist needed when using current designs. Not only does this ensure nothing rolls back out after collecting, it also means the Quick Pick needs emptying less often. The Store element of the design enables the Quick Pick to be conveniently hung if needed – which is of particular help when users are travelling with the product.
To help protect the user’s back—already put under enough strain from other tasks of daily horse care—the Quick Pick sits just above knee height meaning it doesn’t need to be lifted too far off the floor when moved. Similarly, the product has a strong easy empty rear handle, so the Quick Pick can be emptied efficiently without twisting the body. Another clever feature is the integral boot scraper. As poo-picking needs to be done whatever the weather, users can keep their boots clean by simply standing on the left footplate whilst scraping their right foot and vice versa.
Including a pour spout and side clips to enable a bag liner, the Quick Pick can be beneficial in a number of scenarios including DIY and gardening – making it a truly versatile product and a must have for retailers thinking of diversifying their stock into wider markets. What’s more, the Quick Pick is a practical tool for both able and less abled horse owners, as it can be used from five different positions – enabling it to suit anyone’s style or strength.
Featuring a handy attachment, the Quick Pick is built to use alongside a lightweight rake. Jointly designed with stable tool expert Leon Fynn, General Manager at Fyna-Lite, the Fyna-Lite Quick Pick Rake combines a long and chunky handle with especially angled prongs that enable droppings to be effortlessly flicked out of a number of surfaces including long grass, shavings and sand. Tried and tested with several different widths and prong lengths, the Fyna-Lite Quick Pick Rake provides a lot of power from very little effort.
Ultra-lightweight and extra strong, the plastic elements of the Quick Pick remain durable down to temperatures of minus 20, while the metalwork is anodised aluminium making it less likely to crack and peel or show signs of wear and tear.
On sale from September, the Quick Pick will be available in a range of colours, including pink, purple, red, blue, green and black – with the same colourways offered for the rake. When sold separately, customers can mix or match their chosen Quick Pick and rake, ensuring it suits any potential customer’s taste.
