Science Supplements is proud to announce the names of their two new interns – Katherine Stephen BSc (Hons) and Sarah Burgess (BSc (Hons).

Katherine joins the team after successfully graduating from Bishop Burton College, with a degree from Royal Agricultural University in Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation BSc (Hons). Katherine currently competes up to intermediate level with a couple of top ten placings at Novice level. Katherine explains: ‘I hope to qualify for the Science Supplements Badminton Cup (Grassroots Championships) in the next year, so I’m thrilled that the company I now work for is supporting this amazing competition.”

Sarah joins the Science Supplements team having graduated from the Royal Agricultural University in 2018 with a First Class Honours degree in Equine Management (BSc). As a leader in her year she won the prize for ‘The Best Technology Based Dissertation’.

“I have an ISHxTB 13-year-old gelding who I compete at British Show Jumping events. We have previously competed at Newcomers level and are hoping to step up to Foxhunter in the near future, said Sarah.

Commercial Director Vicky Mitson commented, “We are delighted to have taken on another two superb Interns. We believe it is important to support young professionals entering our industry and to teach them good business practises. Plus, their enthusiasm and passion is infectious and we love adding that energy to the team.”
