A new divisional director has been appointed at animal-related business insurance specialist Cliverton.

Mark Briggs has joined the company to spearhead its ambitious growth plans, following successful sales roles within the MGA sector.

Briggs brings with him more than 20 years of insurance experience, including senior management positions at Aviva. He succeeds Andrew Ball who has retired from Cliverton, part of the Lycetts Group of companies.

“Cliverton holds a market-leading position as the UK’s most experienced broker for animal-related trade insurance and I’m looking forward to leading the business through our next phase of growth,” said Briggs.

“Our team boast an enviable track record in delivering best in class insurance services. We will work hard to continue at the fore of the sector and further our reputation as a trusted adviser that truly understands the specialist requirements of its clients.
